R-407H TO REPLACE HCFC-22 IN AN AMERICAN COLD STORAGE WAREHOUSE

R-407H (GWP 1,495) has been used to replace HCFC-22 in the refrigeration system of an American warehouse.

The refrigeration system had a charge of 1,450 kg was used to cool the 8,400 m3 between -1 and +1 C.

R-407H is a zeotropic non-flammable blend of HFC-32/HFC-125/HCF-134a, designed as a HCFC-22 retrofit replacement in refrigeration systems with limited modifications, having a similar efficiency and temperature, pressure and mass flow characteristics.

It is also a R-404A/R-507 drop-in.
