HFO BASED POLYURETHANE FOAM FOR THE INSULATION OF A NEW LONDON PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

HFO-1336mzz blown polyurethane spray foam has been used for the insulation of 6,000 m² of the Boxton Croydon Development in London, an innovative commercial park concept composed of 70 assembled shipping containers.

HFO-1336mzz blown foam was selected for its superior insulation, allowing more space for retail and leisure activities, dimensional stability, and sealing quality (low permeability to outside air).

HFO-1336mzz has a GWP of 2 and is non flammable. It has received the Polyurethane Innovation Award at the 2017 Polyurethanes Technical Conference.
