HFO BASED POLYURETHANE FOAM FOR THE INSULATION OF A NEW LONDON PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

HFO-1336mzz blown polyurethane spray foam has been used for the insulation of 6,000 m2 of the Boxton Croydon Development in London, an innovative commercial park concept composed of 70 assembled shipping containers.

HFO-1336mzz blown foam was selected for its superior insulation, allowing more space for retail and leisure activities, dimensional stability, and sealing quality (low permeability to outside air).

HFO-1336mzz has a GWP of 2 and is non flammable. It has received the Polyurethane Innovation Award at the 2017 Polyurethanes Technical Conference.
