HFC-32 HYBRID VRF HEAT PUMP AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM OFFERS ENHANCED EFFICIENCY

24 June 2018

Hybrid VRF combines variable refrigerant flow and chiller technologies. It uses water throughout the majority of the pipework to transfer simultaneous heating and cooling to different rooms and offers two-pipe heat recovery. The use of HFC-32 instead of R-410A provides high operational efficiency, while the hybrid VRF system avoids the need for indoor leak detection as water (instead of refrigerant) delivers the heating or cooling. One outdoor unit can be used for multiple indoor units, with each indoor unit being individually controllable. The compressors of VRF systems can be operated at varying speeds, so the VRF unit works only as required to meet the actual heating or cooling requirements, considerably enhancing their efficiency. 20 to 50kW units will be available.
